New Ross Carmel are celebrating their bi-centenary this week. Carmelites from all over Ireland joined with the Community, their relatives and members of the Secular Order on Tuesday. After Mass all past members of the community were remembered by name and a flower laid on each grave.

Previously the Town Council had presented the sisters with the
New Ross Flag

 

 

 

The sisters also made a Carmelite Flag
to their own design to hang beside
the town flag.

A Celebration for the town was held on Thursday.
